Happy Veteran’s Day to all the brave men and women who have served our country and fought to preserve our freedom and way of life. Words cannot begin to describe the gratitude and admiration we at the Westernport Heritage Society have for each and every one of you. Your bravery, sacrifice and dedication to our great country will never be forgotten or taken for granted.

For anyone who doesn’t know, we have an entire room at our Williams Community Museum, located at 136 Main Street in Westernport, MD to honor and remember some of the brave men and women from our area who answered the call and stood up to defend America.

If anyone is interested in viewing this, or any other display that we currently have our museums are open every 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month as well as by appointment.
